Small and medium companies from the green technology sector still have a week to submit their applications to the GreenEvo programme, launched by the Ministry of Environment (at present the Ministry of Climate) and financed by the National Fund for Environment Protection and Water Management. This year’s edition will have a maximum of 20 winners, who will receive support in the form of training sessions and the participation in the foreign trade missions. The applications have to be submitted by November 20th, 2019.
This year we are celebrating a 10th anniversary of the launch of the GreenEvo – the Accelerator of Green Technologies programme, which supports the transfer of the best green technologies to foreign markets. During these past years the companies delivering 74 awarded solutions have taken advantage of professional support tools such as various workshops (including those in presentation techniques, marketing and sales or intellectual property protection) as well as of the possibility to present their awarded solutions on foreign business missions.
This year’s edition aims at selecting 20 new green technologies representing eight fields:
- Renewable energy sources;
- Green technologies in the mining industry;
- Solutions supporting energy savings;
- Systems helping to monitor and gather information on natural environment;
- Technologies supporting climate protection;
- Technologies supporting waste management;
- Water and sewage technologies;
- Low-carbon transport technologies, electric vehicles and energy storage.
These fields constitute a response to the most important challenges and most urgent needs with respect to the environment protection and the promotion of circuit economy. The applications have to be submitted by November 20th. Upon a positive evaluation by the programme jury of their form and content, the technologies may receive the support from the programme organizers with respect to the transfer of these technologies to foreign markets.
“Polish companies from the green technologies sector represent really high standards and have a great potential. Many of them could surely succeed on international level. A global market of solutions and proecological technologies is developing dynamically. Therefore, our goal is to make a Polish contribution to this market thanks to the GreenEvo programme”. – said the deputy Minister of Environment Sławomir Mazurek.
