August 14 is the Energy Scientist’s Day and the Polish celebration of the energy industry. On this occasion, it is worth getting to know the winners of the GreenEvo program in the field of green technologies.
Energy from… water, hydrogen, sewage or biomass? Yes, it’s possible!
Enerko Energy Sp. z o. o. offers Archimedes screw technology for micro and small hydropower plants.
The Institute of Energy has developed the technology of stacks of solid oxide electrochemical cells (SOC). This solution can work in two ways, i.e. produce heat or produce hydrogen, thanks to which the system can be used as an energy storage.
Another winner of the GreenEvo program is APS Energia S.A., which developed the PULSAR system. It generates energy from hydrogen and air, producing a by-product of pure water.
AnoxyMem® – AnMBR is a wastewater treatment plant that ensures the highest efficiency of treatment of even heavily polluted wastewater while producing biogas.
Let’s not forget about biomass, which can also be used to generate energy. Solutions such as BIOMASSER® straw briquette machines from ASKET or the technology of harvesting and processing ginned corn cobs POWER COB from PHOTO SURVEY use waste biomass to generate electricity and heat.
GreenEvo supports Polish energy technologies
Polish entrepreneurs implement ideas and create environmentally friendly technologies. At GreenEvo, we focus on effective, proven and already implemented solutions.
