Winners of the GreenEvo competition announced

The results of this year’s edition of GeenEvo competition were announced. Out of 14 technologies that made it to the second stage of the competition the Jury has selected 8 winners. Additionally, two technologies, which have not received the status of the winner, were given a honourable mention. The Jury met on 20 May 2013.
Benefits for the winners
The GreenEvo project focuses on supporting international transfer of Polish green technologies. The competition winners may benefit from e.g. support of government institutions worldwide, extensive training offer, presentation of their technologies in a multi-language catalogue distributed in many countries and production of individual spots on the offered technologies.
Moreover, the winners will have the possibility to take part in economic missions together with the representatives of the Polish government, as well as numerous seminars, business meetings and conferences. The trade missions planned for this year include countries such as: Azerbaijan, Croatia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine and Vietnam.

About the Jury of the competition
Members of the Jury in the GreenEvo competition are prominent specialists in different fields representing institutions supporting the project such as: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy, Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Institute for Renewable Energy, Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, National Centre for Emission Balancing and Management, University of Warsaw, Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and National Centre for Research and Development.
The Jury was to select Polish eco-leaders, who will join the group of 40 technologies that won the previous three editions of GreenEvo.
