Idealbin is a smart device for selective waste collection with a system and mobile application dedicated for bin users, city councils, property managers and offices responsible for reporting and analysing waste management data.

Idealbin containers can be powered with built-in photovoltaic panels. Idealbin containers can also be covered with green roofs with life plants, which supports shrinking ecosystems in cities, absorbs fine dust and helps to storing rainwater.

A holistic approach to waste segregation, collection and disposal has allowed the development of containers adapted to modern needs. Idealbin containers have a large capacity. Inside there is a standard 1100 litre container, the waste is weighed each time, and the built-in compactor reduces its volume, which effectively eliminates the problem of overfilling and minimizes the space needed for the installation of waste collection points and affects the transport frequency.

Each container is equipped with an electronic lock and CCTV cameras preventing unauthorised waste disposal. That helps to improve the aesthetics of the waste collecting area, and reduces total waste disposal costs in the long term.

Access to Idealbin containers is possible using an RFID card or smartphone application. Using IoT, the filling level of containers is monitored in real time, this helps to optimise the frequency and garbage truck route.

The mobile application allows access to the container, helps with waste segregation and also monitors the amount and type of waste produced by individual users. This data allows for more efficient waste disposal and improves recycling rate.
