In the Green Evo program, we support and promote green technologies that protect the environment. We therefore encourage you to introduce nature-friendly solutions at home. However, we know perfectly well that some technologies may cost a lot to afford to buy. Government or local programs come to the rescue, thanks to which you can obtain funding for the purchase and implementation of modern solutions. One of them is the “My water” program. We invite you to read the article in which you will learn what the purpose of this program is, who can benefit from funding, and how to apply for a subsidy.

Goals of  „My water” program

Droughts and flooding have been taking place recently. The aim of the “My water” program is to mitigate the effects of droughts and introduce measures to protect buildings against flooding. It also serves to protect this valuable resource for life on Earth. This can be done by investing in technologies that improve retention in a given area. Owners of single-family houses can also contribute to this by purchasing special installations for retaining rainwater or meltwater.

Who can benefit from the “My water” program?

The following may apply for funding:

• owners and co-owners of single-family houses,
• users of perpetual properties with single-family residential buildings,
• owners, co-owners and perpetual usufructuaries of real estate on which the construction of single-family houses is planned.

This is great support for those final beneficiaries who want to work to protect water resources in their homes. Such funding is also a huge help for the household budget, because under the “My water” program you can obtain a subsidy of up to 80% of the cost of purchasing retention installations, but this amount cannot exceed PLN 6,000.

How to apply for funding from the “My water” program?

The whole process is actually very simple. The application can be completed electronically. To do this, you must create an account on the beneficiary’s portal available at www.wfosigw.pl, and then download and complete the form in PDF format. Finally, the application should be sent via the “INBOX – PDF”, which can also be found in the beneficiary’s wallet. It is worth remembering to check the correctness of all data entered there before sending the application!

The application should then be printed, including all necessary attachments, signed, and then delivered to the local Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, competent for the place of residence.
