On Monday around 500 representatives of self-governments, science, business and culture took part in the First Regional Forum Poland-China in Gdańsk. The meeting aimed at establishing cooperation in the field of economy, tourism, science and culture.
It was attended by representative of over 30 Chinese regions and cities and almost all Polish regions and voivodeships. The event was held under honorary patronage of the President Bronisław Komorowski.
The Ministry of the Environment was represented at the Forum by Mr. Igor Mitroczuk – Deputy Director of the Department of Sustainable Development. He delivered a presentation on “Environmental protection on the example of Polish technological and system solutions offered to the Chinese cities and regions”.
Moreover, the Forum was attended by the representatives of companies associated under the Green Technologies Accelerator: Promar, Asket Roman Długi, Technologie Ekologiczne Zbigniew Tokarz, Biogradex, PP EKO and Makroterm.
