The technology for delivering a hydrogenerator to the Boże Dary Mine. The device was installed at a level of -400 meters below ground level. It is the world’s first underground high-head hydroelectric power plant. It generates approximately 180 kW of energy year-round using water discharged from an underground reservoir from a level of -200m to -400m. The device is the first solution for recovering water energy in mines.
