WaterSense presents an innovative solution characterized by three main features aimed at revolutionizing water quality monitoring:

  1. Patent-Pending Measuring System called WaterSensors: The system is built on a component that has a roll with thousands of miniature disposable sensors manufactured using printed electronics technology. When the sensor losses its analytical parameters its automatically changed for a new one like in a old film camera. The ease of changing a roll of sensors is comparable to change roll at the cash register, and one roll lasts for at least three months. With ten different types of sensors, each measuring various physicochemical water parameters, the system prevents biofouling, ensuring accurate measurements without the need for recalibration.
  2. Energy Autonomy System in WaterStation: The second feature is an energy autonomy system based on a miniature hydro-generator. Remarkably, this generator is capable of producing sufficient energy even at water speeds half that of the Oder River, ensuring the system’s continuous operation without relying on external power sources, and providing operation even in winter.
  3. First in the world AI Model for forecasting water quality parameters called WaterForecast: The third innovative aspect is the operational forecasting AI Model that predicts water contamination. This feature is a crucial tool for anticipating disasters, providing an advanced warning mechanism to mitigate potential ecological threats.
