The Pollutec Fair was held on October 10-13, 2023 in Lyon, France. This is a large event promoting modern solutions in the field of environmental protection and green energy. The history of the fair dates back over forty years, and now the event attracts both people interested in pro-ecological technologies and entrepreneurs providing green solutions.

This year’s fair in Lyon was attended by 14 Polish entrepreneurs offering green technologies from the GreenEvo program. The Pollutec fair was also an excellent space to present the winners of the Green Evo – Green Technology Accelerator program. The Polish delegation took part in the panel entitled “Polish Green Technology Meet Up”, where entrepreneurs from the following industries: waste management, ecological construction, solutions for cities, renewable energy sources, energy savings and water and sewage management presented their offers. Representatives of Polish companies also held direct business talks with potential recipients of their solutions.

This year, the Pollutec Fair attracted over 2,000 exhibitors gathered in 11 exhibition areas. Participants could also take part in as many as 450 conferences. The topics of the fair were extensive. It was possible to obtain knowledge on, among others, innovation, water resources management, adaptation of cities and territories to climate change, circular economy and resource protection.

The GreenEvo mission to Lyon was organized by the Ministry of Climate and Environment in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Paris, the Consulate General in Lyon and the Foreign Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.
