On March 28th Polish-Moldavian Economic Forum took place in Kishinev. Prime Ministers of both countries – Mr Donald Tusk and Mr Iurie Leanca participated. As for now, it has been the biggest and the most significant Polish-Moldavian business event in 2014. This year edition concerned i.a. renewable energy sources – one of the areas that GreenEvo project is promoting. Polish offer of cooperation in the field was presented by Ms Agnieszka Kozłowska-Korbicz, the Head of the Project. She briefly described the idea and activities of Greenevo. The project, run by Ministry of the Environment, has been successfully supporting Polish eco-innovative companies since 2009.
In the Forum, apart from representatives of ASKET and URSUS companies (both GreenEvo Winners), many Polish and Moldavian officials participated, including representatives of Polish Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of the Economy, Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, as well as representatives of Moldavian central administration, local authorities and entrepreneurs. It should be also mentioned that during the forum ASKET company, represented by Mr Roman Długi, the president of the board, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Moldavian Academy of Sciences aiming at putting Polish biofuel and energy technologies on the Moldavian market.
